#90 Plastic and Aluminum

#91 Plastic and Tin Plate

#92 Plastic and Miscellaneous Metals

#95 Glass and Plastic

#96 Glass and Aluminum

#97 Glass and Tin Plate

#72 Green Glass
#73 Dark Amber Glass
#74 Light Amber Glass
#75 Light Leaded Glass (found in TVs and Some Displays)
#76 Leaded Glass (Leaded Crystal-such as Chandeliers and Swarovski, Old TVs)
#77 Copper Mixed
#78 Silver Mixed (Mirrors)
#79 Gold Mixed (Some computer terminals)

Recycling Codes – Part 5 : Metal and Plant Materials

The numbers 40-49 are reserved for metals.

There are only two numbers that are used widely:

#40 FE is for Steel, which is an iron based material. Fe is the chemical symbol for iron.

#41 ALU is for Aluminum

Plant Materials are split up between Wood (#50-#59) and Fibers (#60-#69). These are the commonly used codes:

#50 FOR Wood

#51 FOR Cork

#60 COT or TEX Cotton

#61 TEX Jute
