Cut a Piece of Fabric

 

Cut a piece of fabric that is about 6 inches long and 3 inches wide.

 

I started with thin polyester lining.

 

02 If the first fabric is soft Cut a piece of interfacing or tricot a second piece that will fill the flower and stiffen it without making it thick 

Then I used nylon tricot to form the inner layer.

Nylon tricot is soft but thick (compared to the lining). It adds excellent fill material without adding bulk.
